As a hobo you are running through the woods away from the police who are trying to catch you for illegally trespassing on the area you have been calling home for the last three months. As your running from the police you notice a bridge and as you are getting away the smartest idea the comes to your mind is to jump off the bridge into the water. After falling for twenty feet and swimming a ways away, you decide to stop and see how far you've gone. Looking up 49 degrees you see a policeman looking down from where you were just standing. How far have you swam?
You must have swam about 17 feet!
